The Wilton Mall in Saratoga is not a hot-bed of fashion. No Bloomingdale’s, Gap, not a Macy’s for miles, and not even Abercrombie anymore. Wilton Mall contains the d-list celebrity equivalent in anchor stores: The Bon Ton, Sears, and JC Penney. For kids clothes, Wilton Mall has a Gymboree, The Children’s Place, Old Navy, H&M, Justice and of course the department stores. Food options in the food court are limited, but include Subway, Chinese, Sbarro’s pizza, Arby’s and a few others. Pixie Stix is a cute little coffee shop that serves all types of beverages and bakery items. The coffee there is good.
The newly renovated Penney’s is my favorite place to park. They have a family restroom close to the entrance and the exit into the mall dumps you directly in front of the play area, my personal favorite feature of the mall!
The play area contains several soft climbing things for kids, including a couple horses, tubes to crawl through, and a very soft floor. Seating for parents is abundant and there is stroller parking in the entrance-way. It’s suited more for ages 1-6, but I’ve seen bigger kids have a blast there too (as long as they watch out for our little babies!).
The Wilton Mall is not the best mall in our area (try Crossgates or Colonie Center in Albany), but it has some nice elements including the coffee shop, play area and of course the Super Bounce in the food court.
