With 2014 right around the corner, most of us have goals and resolutions which might include eating healthier or starting an exercise program. Lucky for us, we have tons of local options and resources to help achieve our goals. I’ve known trainer Britta Hogue for a while now, and have taken several classes from her. I was really excited to hear that she had launched a new fitness program for women called Karna Fitness.
What is Karna Fitness?
Karna Fitness is a unique health and fitness program as it focuses on creating a supportive, female-only environment. Classes meet three times a week in Clifton Park. Several weeks ago I took a class and not only was it a great workout, it was a lot of fun spending the early morning with a group of upbeat women. Yes, it was really early, as in 5:30am, BUT I was back home before anyone needed anything from me, and it was a great way to start the day! Trust me, I’m not a morning person at all but for the past year I’ve been almost exclusively working out at 5:30 or 6am and I’ve grown to love it!
It really doesn’t matter what level of fitness you’re at, Britta can tailor the program to meet your personal goals and needs. Regardless of where you’re starting, you can expect to be toning up problem areas, losing weight, and improving stamina and endurance.
Why is Karna Fitness so good?
Karna Fitness aims to help women to get fitter, whether you are starting from zero or already have a regular training routine. Many women know that they want to exercise but don’t know how to get started. Exercising in a group is much more motivating than going it alone. You’ll be exercising in a supportive, friendly environment, led by a personal trainer who can help you adapt the workout to suit your particular needs.
Join the Karna Fitness Group
Of course, if you are trying to lose weight, what you eat matters almost as much as the exercise you do. You’ll get advice on how and what to eat, tailored to your specific requirements and goals. Pricing for Karna Fitness Group Training varies depending on how many times per week and the length of commitment but it starts at $99 per month.
