Mama Review: Tumblewool Dryer Balls

1

review! This past year I made the switch from dryer sheets to dryer balls. I thought it would betumblewoollogo one less thing I had to remember at the grocery store, maybe save some money and  cut the chemicals that are used on dryer sheets.  So when Tumblewool reached out to us and asked if we would be interested in trying their product, I was happy to look into a local option for purchase.

Here are the top 5 reasons why I liked the Tubmlewool dryer balls:

1. Keeps toddlers busy!

Folding laundry with a toddler running around can be a little challenging, but if you make it game encouraging them to find the dryer balls, it keeps them occupied while you fold.

2. Love the colors10367179_708827865823189_12468274744187393_n

Although this might seem trivial, it does make them a little easier to spot in the dryer. (Plus, makes it more interesting for the kids!)

3. Saves time and money

While it may only be 30 seconds, all I have to do is throw the laundry in the dryer and turn it on, one less step! I also didn’t have to worry about running out of dryer sheets or forgetting them at the store. Dryer balls also cut down your drying time, if you’re using four Tumblewool balls, it should cut down your drying time by 15 minutes! (If you don’t have an automatic sensor in your dryer, but sure to shorten the drying cycle, if clothes over dry it can cause static.)

4. Size

Since I started using dryer balls, I have been using six at a time and when four arrived from tumblewool I was a little nervous about using less. I saw no difference though, since they are a little larger then the brand I was using before, they worked just as well, if not better.

5. Eco-Friendly and Natural

I’m no longer throwing a dryer sheet every time I do laundry and I don’t need to worry about any chemicals that might be found on dryer sheets.

Tumblewool dryer balls can be purchased online, $20.00 for a set of four or $8.00 for singles. If you want to learn more about Tumblewool, you can find them on facebook or go to their website, www.tumblewool.com.
