National Coffee Day 2014 + McDonald’s McCafe Coffee Prize Giveaway

September 29th 2014 = #NationalCoffeeDay!

Many of you know that I really enjoy coffee.  As much as I love to frequent one of the many local and independent coffee shops, with kids in tow and running all over town, convenience sometimes wins.  Say what you will about McDonald’s, but you absolutely can’t beat their price and quality for drive-thru coffee.  I’ve aways been a McDonald’s coffee drinker because for $1, any size, it’s a no-brainer.

A little more about the beans…

beansMcDonald’s collection of coffee and espresso based McCafé beverages are made with 100 percent Arabica beans sourced from the rich soils of Central and South America.  I dug a little deeper and found out that McDonald’s takes coffee sourcing very seriously and is committed to keeping it ethical, environmental, and responsible by purchasing certified (and verified) coffee and by investing in farmer training.
