The Local Pub and Teahouse Review + Giveaway

SaratogaMama Team

Jennifer, Colleen & Dianna

Last weekend we had a small party to celebrate the launch of SaratogaMama Magazine.  We had the party at  The Local Pub and Teahouse on Beekman Street which provided the perfect mix of casual and fun.

The Local served up all the food and drinks including tea sandwiches, salads, appetizers and kids meals for our kiddos , and Coccadotts Cake Shop made us gorgeous custom SaratogaMama cupcakes.  The cupcakes not only looked super cool with our logo and colors, they tasted amazing.  Coccadotts just opened an Express Shop in Clifton Park Center.  Yum!

If you’ve never been to The Local, you definitely need to check it out.  (our coupon will save you $5 too!)  The Local Pub and Teahouse is a neighborhood bar/restaurant serving traditional English and Irish specialties with a unique selection of craft beers and organic teas from around the world.  The menu includes soups, salads and sandwiches, amazing fish and chips, burgers, poutine fries, and a variety of other pub-style food.  On the weekends The Local offers a brunch featuring an ‘Irish Breakfast’ and other brunch items.

The Local is an easy spot to take the kids because it’s casual and they have a good kids menu.  In the warmer months, outdoor seating is available in the Pub Garden; a great spot to enjoy a pot of tea, beer, or glass of wine.

We were so pleased with both The Local and Coccadotts for making our little party so successful.  Thanks to both businesses for supporting us.

  1. I highly recommend the sampling their selection of beers on tap! My favorite food item is the grilled chicken on flatbread, and definitely order your fries poutine style.

  2. I love the house tea and the little pot they serve it in. My husband goes for the bangers and mash. And my daughter thinks it’s cool because they give her corn chips with her mac and cheese.
