As the end of the school year approaches, you might be starting to think about what to get your child’s teacher as an end of the year gift. We’ve gathered a variety of ideas both locally and online that we hope will make the end of the year rush a little easier for you!

Make a Card

Many teachers love hearing “thank you” especially from their students! Have your child make a card to give their teacher on the last day. Be specific and be sure to have them include their favorite thing from the school year!

  1. These are great ideas! When my children were in elementary school, I’d ask the teacher if I could send out a “Summer Party” invite to all of the kids in class. Secretly, it was a letter to each parent, asking if they’d like to donate $5.00 each to a gift for the teacher. That way, instead of getting 26 mugs, apples, etc: they could get one huge gift certificate to Target, etc (I always found out their favorite restaurant or store). The parents sent in the money to the teacher who forwarded it to me (thinking it was for a bouncy rental or something). Every teacher LOVED it and cried tears of love. They always thanked me from the bottom of their heart. I know this is a big idea but just another suggestion!
