Each year businesses honor Veterans and Service members by offering Veterans Day deals and discounts on goods, services, and dining.

Veterans Day Deals, Discounts and Specials for 2013


Home Depot  – Offers a 10 percent discount to all Veterans during Veterans Day, Memorial Day and Independence Day. Home Depot offers the 10 percent discount year round to for active duty and retirees.

Foot Locker – Veterans, Service members (Active, Guard, and Reserve), and their immediate families with a Foot Locker Veterans Advantage Card receive a 20 percent discount every day of the year. That offer is good both online and at any store location, including Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Foot action and Champs Sports — even on sale items.

Lowe’s – All Veterans receive the 10-percent discount on Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July. The offer is available in stores only and is limited to in-stock and special-order purchases of up to $5,000.

Colonial Car Wash – Free Car Wash for Veterans & Active Military on 11/11

Free food & Drink

Applebees – Free Signature Entree for Veterans & Active Military on 11/11

Carrabba — Veterans or active military members can stop by a Carrabba’s near you and get a free appetizer of your choice on 11/11.

Chili’s – Veterans and active duty dine for free from a special limited seven-item menu from 11am – 5pm on 11/12

Denny’s– Free All you can eat Pancakes to Veterans & Active Military on 11/11 from 6 am – 2 pm.

Friendly’s – Free Breakfast & Coffee for Veterans & Active Military on 11/11

Golden Corral – Free Dinner for Veterans & Active Military on 11/11 from 4 PM to 9 PM.

Hooters – Veterans and active military members can get a free meal at Hooters on Monday, 11/11 with purchase of a drink

Long Horn Steak House – LongHorn Steakhouse is giving away free Texas Tonions and non-alcoholic beverages to veterans who stop into their local Longhorn Steakhouse on Monday, November 11 through Thursday, November 14, 2013.

Little Caesars® Pizza – On 11/11 veterans and active military members will get a free Crazy Bread® with proof of military status or proof of service at participating stores nationwide.

Menchies — Giving out free 6 oz. cups of frozen yogurt to veterans and active duty military all day on 11/11. You’ll need to show military ID or dress in uniform to receive this Veterans Day freebie.

Outback Steak House – Free Bloomin Onion & Beverage for Veterans & Active Military on 11/11

Red Lobster — Get a free appetizer Monday, 11/11 through Thursday, 11/14.

Red Robin–  a Free Tavern Double Burger to All Veterans and Active Duty Military on Veterans Day on 11/11

T.G.I. Friday’s – Veterans and Service members can get a free lunch on 11/11. Contact your nearest location for more details on their Veterans Day offer.

The Olive Garden – Veterans and service members can get a free entrée choice from a special menu. The entrée choices include garlic bread sticks and choice of soup or salad. The offer is good on 11/11.

UNO Chicago Grill – Veterans and active military members can get a free entrée or individual pizza with the purchase of an entrée or pizza of equal or greater value. This offer is valid 11/11 & 11/12.
