Preschool Chefs with Go Kids: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies @ Healthy Living Market and Cafe

Our obsession with all things pumpkin continues this week in our Preschool Chefs class. In this class, we’ll delve deep into the season’s supreme squash and talk about where and how these big beauties grow. We’ll read Gail Gibbons’ The Pumpkin Book and discuss how pumpkins are used both in and out of the kitchen. We’ll make and bake some über-delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and while they’re in the oven, we’ll have a fun and energetic half-hour session with Go Kids in the atrium! Your kids will come back hungry after all that exercise, but don’t worry: we’ll be making plenty of cookies to eat both in class AND at home.

About Go Kids: Go Kids is the Capital Region’s only exercise program for kids. It’s specifically designed to teach motor and life skills in an environment kids love! Their goal is to get kids excited about moving and foster a lifelong love for sports while promoting healthy growth and development; social skills are developed, too. It’s so much fun, kids won’t even know it’s good for them!

This class is great for kids aged 3-5; all kids must be accompanied by an adult (adult admission free). $30/child. Register below using our secure online store or give us a call at (518) 306 4900.
