Endangered Species Day for Kids at Saratoga Spa State Park

Saratoga Spa State ParkEndangered Species Day for Kids, 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16: Join a park naturalist as we celebrate Endangered Species Day by learning about the endangered Karner blue butterfly. Kids will learn what an endangered species is and what factors have put the Karner blue on that list. Discussion will be followed by a walk through Spa Park’s butterfly habitat during which kids can see first-hand what is being done to protect this beautiful insect. Ages 5+ welcome.

Fee is $3 per person or $5 per family. Call 584-2000, Ext. 150 to register.
