Have you tried the sport of snowshoeing? The Albany Pine Bush Preserve is a great place to get started with this fun sport. Join us for about a 1 mile hike on snowshoes. We'll explore the frozen landscape of the pine barrens and gain a basic introduction to snowshoeing. Snowshoes will be provided to program participants.

 

Pre-registration is required for all events.
Fee: $3.00/person, $5.00/family, Children under 5 free.
Please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of the program to purchase your ticket.
Tickets can also be purchased in advance of the program at the Discovery reception desk.

Note: Programs begin promptly at times listed. Please notify us if you need to cancel your registration so we can open your spot up to the waiting list.

Groups with 8 or more people, please call us for special accommodations.


DIRECTIONS TO APB DISCOVERY CENTER: From I-87 take exit 2W (Rt 5 West, Central Avenue). Follow Rt 5 for about 2 miles then turn left onto Rt 155 (New Karner Rd). Continue on Rt 155 for about 1.2 miles. The Discovery Center is located on the left at 195 New Karner Road. (518)456-0655
