During this hour and a half presentation, Kathy Johnson, author of The Roadmap From Learning Disabilities to Success, will present the Pyramid of Potential – a model for brain development to overcome the symptoms related to ADD/ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.
There is no silver bullet, but there is a process to follow according to individual cognitive abilities. She will show how parents and teachers can spend a modest time each day to develop the connections in the brain that were not wired in the critical first 3 years of life, but that can be developed at any time. After completing the process, parents have seen their children
independently completing their homework; teachers have seen children become able to learn (and therefore require less teaching time!)
Research tells us that IQ can change, and that brain development can happen. Come spend a few hours learning how!
