I don’t know about you, but this has been a weird holiday week for me. I had Wednesday off…so it’s like I had 2 Fridays this week…and two Mondays. For the lucky few who took an especially long weekend; I am quite jealous of you.
With the upcoming ballet season at SPAC, the New York City Ballet (and SPAC) announced that the ballet would only be in town for one week in 2013. It’s a little far reaching for planning, but sad nonetheless.

Things in town are gearing up for track season – and a new clothing store should be opening soon in the old Divinyl location on Broadway. I’m more excited about the beer garden…word on the street is that the place is going to be open by the end of this month. It’s called Druthers Brewing Company and will open on Broadway just south of the former Shoe Depot building. The pub will feature a 4,200-square-foot outdoor patio lined with trees and of course, lots of beer.

Whether you celebrated the 4th last weekend or are planning to this weekend, enjoy! Stay safe – and remember, Phish is in town this weekend!
