As the 15th annual Saratoga Chowderfest comes to a close, we bid farewell to another hugely successful Saratoga festival. Our day started early at the Saratoga City Center for the Saratoga flash mob rehearsal. Robby and I along with a few friends from Saratoga TODAY and a bunch of other good sports learned our dance all morning before hitting Caroline Street for our big debut.
At 11:45am, the first notes of the song Sweet Caroline pumped through the Saratoga City Tavern speakers and it was show time! My fellow flash mob dancers and I crowded the streets and danced like no one was watching. Well, actually, a lot of people were watching, especially Modern Mix Marketing whose team captured every angle.
I can’t wait to see what Modern Mix does with this awesome footage. It was a really fun start to Chowderfest.

After our flash mob, it was business as usual as we sampled the many chowders at some of our favorite spots. It was a little cold so we didn’t last quite as long as we had anticipated.

Overall it was another great Saratoga Chowderfest. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! As always, the lines were long, the streets were packed, and we all got cold, but we’ll definitely be back for Chowderfest 2014!
