Autumn is a time of change: the leaves fall from the trees and the weather signals a time of transformation for nature, animals, and people. With the energetic activity of summer behind us, there is now an opportunity—with encouragement from nature—to slow down, calm the mind, and go within. It’s the perfect time for restorative yoga.
The evening will begin with time to chat over a cup of tea or glass of wine. Then, with quiet, soothing music and candlelight in the background, you will move through gentle stretching and supported restorative poses using bolsters, blocks and blankets. The use of props to hold you in gentle postures allows the mind and body time and space to fully relax.Postures will focus on balancing the root, sacral and solar plexus chakras and Ellen will introduce essential oils to further enhance the balancing effect of the poses.
No yoga experience necessary. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This workshop often sells out, so sign-up early! The cost is $20 and includes wine, tea, and water.
